Louis
Shuster is a native Philadelphian. He relocated to South Florida
in 1981, establishing his interior design practice in Fort
Lauderdale. Louis received a bachelor of arts degree at St.
Joseph's College, attended Delaware Law School, and the Philadelphia
College of Art.
He
is board certified and state licensed to practice interior
design. He has served on the Board of Governors at The Design
Center of Americas (DCOTA), is an active member of the Interior
Design Guild (IDG) of South Florida and has been a board
member of The International Society of Interior Designers
(ISID), South Florida Chapter.
Shuster Design Associates, Inc. has been the recipient of
the coveted GUILDA (The Designer Of The Year Award) from
1982 until the present and has garnered the prestigious HALO
Award for excellence in lighting design. The company has also
received national and international recognition and acclaim
for outstanding installations.
Louis
has lectured students in design at Broward Community College,
has been a guest speaker at DCOTA'S Americas Conference and
Fabric Fair, has judged various design competitions, and is
on the board of review for Haut Decor Magazine.
